Scholarship Foundation Donations
Every donation to the Foundation assists our organization in offering scholarships to assist our participants in achieving their higher educational goals.
Miss Volunteer America Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization filed in the State of Tennessee. All donations are tax-deductible and donor letters will be mailed out in late January from the Miss Volunteer America Foundation. Donations should be made out to and sent to Miss Volunteer America Foundation, then subsequently, the Community Foundation of West Tennessee distributes all scholarship awards to recipients upon receiving the proper documentation and application materials. Scholarship donations may only be used by recipients in one of two ways: 1. outstanding tuition balances for students who are in good academic standing with their accredited college or university or 2. educational loans where the recipient is listed as the primary or secondary on the loan. Please reach out to Frank McMeen with The Community Foundation of West Tennessee or frank@cfwtn.org Allison DeMarcus with Miss Volunteer America Foundation allison@missvolunteeramerica.net with any issues, concerns or questions.
